The mission of the church, as stated in the Book of Common Prayer's catechism (p. 855), is "to restore all people to unity with God and each other in Christ."
Our Diocese is comprised of 69 parishes and missions, and over 14,000 baptized members spanning the Northern California Region. We are a family of congregations in Northern California following Jesus Christ in the Anglican way as part of The Episcopal Church; we are partners with God in God's mission here and throughout the world.
The Investment Fund of The Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Northern California is a collective investment fund available to congregations, the Diocese itself and diocesan organizations. The purpose of the Fund is to allow those organizations to take advantage of economies of scale and diversification in an effort to promote greater investment return and efficiency, and to further their charitable objectives.
The Episcopal Church Foundation (ECF) seeks to bring about a growing number of healthy, vital, and vibrant congregations in service to God's mission with the capacity to empower and support their members to live out the Gospel.
